Double Trap
"The best way to learn in any sport is to just get out there and do it"

Double TrapOne of the three disciplines that makes up the Olympic and Commonwealth Games programmes. Using two targets released simultaneously, each shooter takes in turns in taking the pair of targets from five different stations.

After all 6 shooters have taken the pair off one station, then each one moves to the next station until a sequence of 25 pairs have been shot. Competition is taken over 3 rounds of 25 pairs with 1 point for each target broken.

Great Britain's Richard Faulds won the Gold medal at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games in this discipline.
